Dinner Time and Mommy's Helper

Dinner Time is usually always an adventure with Zekers! One night Zeke just decided that he needed to put his feet up on the table while he ate. He thought it was pretty funny.  Notice all the sour cream on his Enchilada's? He will eat anything if it is smothered in sour cream, this kid loves that stuff! Sometimes when he is hungry we will go to the fridge to see what he would like to eat and usually he will grab the sourcream and a spoon. Don't worry I don't let him eat just sour cream, I usually make a quasedilla or something to go with it.

Whenever I am in the kitchen making something yummy, Zeke grabs his chair and pushes it over to the counter. He loves watching me make cookies or cupcakes in the Kitchen Aid. He usually starts saying "round, round, round..."  when the Kitchen Aid is going, it is really cute. I think his favorite part of helping mommy in the kitchen is when he gets to lick the bowl or spatula.

I was rinsing something in the sink after I had rolled out all the cookies while Zeke was busy licking the bowl. I came back to take Zeke to the sink to wash his face and hands and noticed that he had rolled the last of the dough into a ball and rolled it in the sugar and placed it on the cookie sheet. The above picture is of a proud 2 year old who made his own cookie. He was so happy that he had done it all by himself.

Notice the cookie...it is the one that is not like the others! I love it! It is moments like these that I just want to cherish forever. I love being a mommy, especially Zeke's mommy! He is one smart and special boy.
