First Trip to the Zoo!

Brandon had a day off so I thought it would be fun if we went to the Hogle Zoo as a family. It was a lot of fun and Zeke liked looking at the animals that moved around. He had absolutley no interest in the animals that just sat there, they had to be moving around for him to notice them. I love the zoo and I love to see all of the animals. It was really fun to see the Ghost of the Bayou, AKA the white alligator. Here is a little scrap book page that I put together with some pictures from Zeke's first trip to the Zoo.

Zeke's Pure Happiness

What is that big smile for?

It is because Zeke absolutley loves animals. Especially dogs! We were over at the Calder's (The Butterfield's neighbors) and they have a dog named Lily. Brandon was getting Lily all excited by letting Lily try to grab Zeke's binky. I have never heard Zeke laugh so hard. It was the cutest thing ever. He would try to grab the dog's fur if she got too close and he would try to put it in his mouth and give it kisses. Every time he sees a dog he gets a huge grin on his face. Brandon is trying to convince me that Zeke needs a dog and if I don't let him get one I am denying him his pure happiness. I am not getting a dog! We will just visit people with dogs. :)

The other day I was at my parents house and they have a dog named Superman. Zeke was laying on the floor playing and all of a sudden Superman jumped over Zeke. Zeke thought it was the coolest thing ever and he just sat there with the biggest grin ever on his face.

I am a Slacker!

I have been such a slacker at posting things lately. Partly because I had to teach a Relief Society lesson on Sunday so that is what I was constantly working on for 2 weeks. It is such a relief to have it done and over with.

Brandon's sister Mandi and her husband Blake live in Virginia while Blake is going to Med school. On the 4th they came to town and stayed until the 19th. It was so fun to see them especially because this was their first time seeing Zeke in person. Aunt Mandi and Zeke at the 4th of July BBQ

We all went out to lunch before Mandi and Blake left town.

This is a picture of Zeke from the 4th of July. He was always sleeping, even during the fireworks. I thought this picture was so sweet of him, Brandon was holding him on his lap while doing something on the computer and Zeke just couldn't seem to keep his eyes open. I think it is so cute when he sleeps because he always looks so happy and pleasant.

My Toothless Wonder

I am loving digital scrapbooking. It is so fun to do and I couldn't wait to scrapbook this cute picture of my Zeke. I was so excited when I got such a good picture of Zeke's adorable smile. I just think that it is the cutest thing in the world! Zeke is such a happy baby. I am the luckiest mom in the world. I love being a mom and I love my Zeke.
