Christmas

We had such a fabulous Christmas! On Christmas Eve we went to my Uncle's house and had a delicious Finnish Christmas Dinner and after dinner the kiddos waited for Santa and sang Christmas songs and acted out the Nativity. Santa finally came and I was surprised Zeke actually went up to him and shook his hand, and sat on his lap for family pictures with Santa Claus!

Zeke was so happy to open presents from Santa Claus.On Christmas morning we had to wake up early so we could go talk to Uncle Ben and Uncle Macy who are both serving missions. We woke up around 7:00 am so we could be to Grandma and Grandpa Butterfield's by 8:20 am. It was pretty early for little Zekers especially since we didn't get home until after 11:30, and he was not happy until he started opening his presents. He would make this funny face every present he would open, mouth opened as big as he could. It was so fun watching him and the excitement for each present but especially his Disney Cars. It was priceless!He definitely had to open them right away to play with them. This is his face he makes when he makes car noises! He also said "eep, eep" for beep beep. So cute and funny! After Christmas Breakfast at the Butterfield's we headed to my parnets to open some presents. Zeke got a Thomas the Train set from my parents and when he opened it my sister said wow. Zeke then said, "Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow!" It was so clear and perfect! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year, I know we sure did!
